As an ISO 9000 lead auditor for the past 18 years, I can tell you that the Simpletrak system is amazing in organizing the
information needed to answer and show evidence required by ISO standards.   I have never seen a Program better suited to giving clients the tools, training, knowledge and motivation needed to achieve ISO 9001.

Ion Quality prospective

The Ion system enables  companies to more effectively manage the strict requirements needed for compliance to the Aerospace Quality Management Systems. Through use of technology afforded by web based computer capabilities, the Auditor now has access to the entire suite of Client measurement data and Quality Systems Documentation from their desk top.

The revised AS9104/1 (draft) includes a section covering Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques (CATT) recognizing the capabilities and remote insight to companies Quality Systems Data.  The auditor now has the ability to audit records from a desktop decreasing the amount of onsite time needed to gather data and spend more quality time assessing the company's overall  conformance to the Aerospace Standard.  Many companies comment that the automation helps them focus on managing their business based on easy to understand process performance indicators.  This Allows for early corrective or preventative measures to enhance quality and realize business objectives.

In the spirit of continual improvement for the Aerospace Industries, I believe we are seeing the beginnings of a more efficient and effective future in professional auditing using this technology method.
